Purpose
The purpose of LMCC's Women's Ministry is to encourage, equip, empower, and evangelize women to serve the Lord Jesus Christ in accordance with their gifts as members of the church body.
What we want to accomplish
- Encourage: To come alongside to strengthen and stimulate one another (Hebrews 10:24).
- Equip: To provide Biblical training in God's Word (2 Timothy 3:16-17).
- Empower: To confirm and release women into ministry as God calls them (Luke 9:1).
- Evangelize: To share the love of Jesus with the lost (1 Peter 3:15).
How you can plug in
- Lady Bereans Bible Study meets on Tuesdays from 9:30-11:30 a.m. in Room 9. This inductive study of the book of Jonah will be led by Kim Reynolds. Contact: Kim (440-7284).
- Salt and Pepper Bible Study (for age 50+) meets on Tuesdays from 9:30 a.m. – 12:00 noon in the home of Paula Eichman. They are studying "If not for the Grace of God" by Joyce Meyer and will be led by Joan Huff. For more information and location call Jo Gastellum (462-1406).
- The Encouragers Study meets Tuesday evenings from 6:30-8:00 in Fellowship Hall. They are studying the book “Search for Significance” by Roberts F. McGee. This study is lead by Debbie Loureiro (334-6897).
- WOW (Women of the World) Bible Study meets on Wednesdays from 6:30-8:00 p.m. in Room 19. This winter/spring, we will be studying 1 & 2 Peter and various Psalms. Workbook $3.00. Babysitting provided. This group is lead by Monica Sammons (448-3332) or sammons6@cox.net.
- PB&J (Preschoolers, Bible, and Jesus) meets Fridays from 9:30-11:30 a.m. in the yellow room of South Hall. A Bible Study/Fellowship group for Moms with preschoolers and babies. Moms, bring your little ones and join us. Contact Laura Rossitto (466-2798) for more information.
- Prayer Quilt Ministry Workshops meets the 2nd Saturday of each month from 9:30-2:00. Bring a sack lunch if you plan to stay the whole time. For more information, call Winnelle Frye (670-5707).
- Craft Class meets the 3rd Saturday of each month from 9:30-12:00 Noon in Fellowship Hall. Please come join in the fun & creative expression! For more information, please call Jo Gastellum (462-1406).
